Launching the Avenue Purchasing Group

The launch of the new Avenue UK website www.avenue-uk.com coincides with the launch of our new service, The Avenue Purchasing Group.

The Avenue Purchasing Group works by harnessing the combined purchasing power of its members to deliver amazing deals that achieve higher levels of service and exceptional savings.

We wanted three things.

1 To make sure it appeals to the widest possible audience, attracting both smaller companies and larger corporates, and
2 To seek to include as many charities as possible in order to assist them in getting better value out of every pound they spend and to help them divert more money to front line charitable purposes
3 To ensure that we made it as easy as possible for members to join the group

The combination of charities and companies means that business and industry are lending their spending power not only to get themselves a better deal, but to drive costs down for charities. A win win for all concerned.

In terms of making it easy for members to join the group , we decided that there should be no Contract to sign in order to join, No fee to pay to join or fees to pay when benefiting from the group, and that involvement in any Avenue Purchasing Group initiatives was voluntary.

A broad group of organisations and a vibrant membership will enable us to drive real value for everyone involved. Our hope is that the group will grow by recommendation from those who benefit from the Avenue Purchasing group activities.
