We have worked with Avenue over the last 18 months, in order to understand key service outputs and select a contractor for our requirements regarding Cleaning Services provision to a majority of our Leisure Centres. Avenue undertook a comprehensive communication process with various senior managers to gain a cultural perspective on what was required of the contract.

We feel that Avenue gained a thorough understanding of our requirements from the start. This interaction and opportunity to explore and agree what was required to meet our business objectives was a vital first step in allowing us to professionally enter into an eventual agreement for this (circa) 600k pa contract.

A thorough and comprehensive selection process was set up and managed by Avenue to meet our needs. This process followed a full and well prepared Invitation to Tender methodology. Service Level Agreements and the means of performance measurement were well planned. The selection process included measuring the suitability of contractors corporately, operationally and financially at every key stage of the process.

Avenue supported the implementation of the contract and assisted with finalisation of contractual matters including KPIs and delivery objectives.

Our relationship with Avenue has been good and a strong team spirit has remained which is vital for the continued commitment to and from both organisations.

We decided to utilise their Purchasing Support service as this allowed us to spread the cost of their work over the contract term. We also preferred this style as it provides ongoing support to us.
We have used this service for two expenditure areas so far and are just embarking on two more.
